We mentioned that we were having someone stay over for just tonight in that room (we are allowed to and often have friends over), and our landlord is saying that no one can ever sleep in that room at any time and that they made that clear before. When we were looking at renting the place, it was with the idea that we would have our own separate spaces/rooms, but we've ended up exclusively staying in the conforming bedroom together, and we have the other room set up as a guest room. There are no doors between that room and the egress in the kitchen at all. I'm in Colorado, me and my partner are renting out a basement in a house with one conforming bedroom and a nonconforming room that has a closet but no door and no egress. also worth noting is that while hes only 2 months older than me, right now he is 18 and i am 17 i dont know if they would classify as illegal or not (not nudes just sexting texting). This includes nsfw texts between me and my ex boyfriend who would hate me for life if they ever got exposed. she said if i go through with this she will have to call the cops and they will report a missing persons case, call my internet service provider and get all my imessages, and get my discord account or ip or something and go thru all my messages, deleted and still there Last night i tried to run away to said friend's house and my mom caught me. can easily get a job and am in online college, so thats not a problem. i have a friend who said he'd give me shelter, i have several transportation plans, i have some money. i need to leave before i turn 18 in order to gain some experience in the world and not want to die. i cant stand another day in this place and i am being forced to live a "late bloomer" life when i have longg been mentally ready to leave. i have been homeschooled, isolated and mentally broken down for years.
